Local Issue Coffee Hours are an opportunity for faculty and nonprofit community partners to come together in a relaxed environment to consider future collaborations. Topics are typically focused on a single issue such as affordable housing, the needs of the elderly, nutrition needs among area youth, etc. The agenda is light and the mood is informal but the hope is that, as smart people gather in the same room, they'll form new ideas and productive partnerships.
