Chris is an assistant professor in the department of Geography and Planning. They recently moved to Boone with their spouse after finishing a fellowship in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania, where they were also an Associate Adjunct Professor for Temple University. Chris is parent to a very active 20-month-old, and from San Antonio, TX. They have a lot of experience facilitating family and children’s programs, having formerly served as the Program Director for a Parent/Child mobility and gymnastics program, as well as been the Director of Special Programs and Activities for a STEM recreational facility in Upstate NY. Chris is very excited to build connections between peer faculty and grow the EFPN!
