On Confederate Monuments, Racial Strife, & the Politics of Power on a Southern Campus
The Center for Academic Exellence's Faculty Fellow and Coordinator for Universal Design for Learning Ms. Lillian Nave recently had an article published in the Teaching and Learning Together in Higher Education. The Chronicle of Higher Education also did a feature story based on the article. Lillian's article On Confederate Monuments, Racial Strife, & the Politics of Power on a Southern Campus, discussed her strategies for creating a responsive curriculum to assist students in navigating pressing controversial issues that arise in Higher Education Institutions in the Southern regions of the United States.
